POSITION VACANT - EXPERIENCED STABLE HAND

As we rebuild parts of our farm post the bushfire we're also re-structuring our team.

We're looking for passionate people to join us on the exciting journey ahead.

We provide breeding, rearing, sales preparation and spelling services to the thoroughbred industry.

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced people to fulfil the role of Senior Stablehand.

What we’re looking for:

- A passionate horse person with a positive, can do attitude

- Prior experience working with thoroughbreds in a stud environment essential

- Prior experience working with broodmares, foals and racehorse spellers is essential

- Experience providing support to farriers and vets

- Experience administering treatment to horses

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Punctual with keen attention to detail

- Drivers license, experience towing a float

POSITION VACANT - GARDENING AND MAINTENANCE

We are looking for a reliable, practical, and self‑motivated Gardener/Maintenance/Handyperson to assist with the post bushfire re-build and general upkeep of our 500acre thoroughbred property.

This part‑time position offers flexible working hours and a variety of hands‑on tasks around the property. Ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and takes pride in keeping a property running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • General property repairs and maintenance

  • Basic fencing repairs

  • Yard and grounds upkeep including mowing, whipper-snipping, and weeding

  • Assisting with odd jobs as required

  • Safely operating property machinery

Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to drive a tractor and small excavator, or willingness to learn

  • Self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised

  • Practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving

  • Horse experience is a bonus, but not essential
